Early Life and Foundation of Compassion

Chandler Michael Doyle was born on November 13, 1988, in Stuart, Florida, and raised in the close-knit community of Jupiter. From a young age, Chandler’s life was filled with the joys of childhood—skateboarding through neighborhood streets, surfing the waves, swimming, fishing, and exploring the natural beauty of Big Pine Key during summers with family. His love for adventure was matched only by his deep connection to his hometown and the people in it. He also spent formative years in Aspen, Colorado, and New Bern, North Carolina, enriching his early experiences and shaping a broad, compassionate view of the world.

Chandler’s childhood was anything but ordinary. Diagnosed with kidney disease (hydronephrosis) as a young child, he spent a significant part of his early life in and out of hospitals. At just three years old, Chandler received his first kidney transplant from his mother—an extraordinary gift of life and love. At 19, he received a second kidney, this time from his father, making their story a rare and powerful testament to family strength and devotion.

It was through these early challenges that Chandler developed a deep sense of empathy, especially for other children and families walking a similar path. His resilience in the face of illness shaped his purpose: to help others, especially young patients, feel seen, supported, and never alone.

Health Journey and a Life of Service

Despite the physical toll of his condition, Chandler lived with an unshakable spirit. His life was filled not only with personal courage but with a deep commitment to serving others. He became an active advocate for pediatric kidney disease awareness and transplant care, volunteering with the University of Miami Transplant Institute, Holtz Children’s Hospital, The Kidney Foundation, and The Gift of Life Foundation.

His empathy was not theoretical—it was lived experience. Chandler understood the fear, pain, and uncertainty that came with childhood illness, and he worked tirelessly to ease those burdens for others. He regularly visited pediatric patients, offered comfort to parents, and shared his story to inspire hope. Even in his final act, Chandler gave the gift of sight by donating his eyes—an embodiment of his lifelong commitment to giving.

Faith, Legacy, and Everlasting Impact

From a young age, Chandler’s life was guided by deep Christian faith. He memorized scripture, shared the Gospel freely, and found strength in God during even the most difficult moments. At 24, he fulfilled a childhood promise to walk in the footsteps of Moses during a faith-filled journey to Egypt—an experience that reflected his deep spiritual purpose.

Friends, family, and all who knew him describe Chandler as unwavering in both faith and compassion. His life, though brief, was rich with meaning. He faced adversity with grace, lived selflessly, and devoted himself to helping children and families who, like him, faced daunting health journeys. He was a quiet pillar of strength—a man who gave without expectation and loved without limits.

Chandler passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 35. Yet his mission—to bring light to others, to uplift families in crisis, and to share the message of Jesus Christ—continues. His legacy lives on through every act of kindness he inspired and every child given hope because of his story.
